Thank you so much to everyone who made Beebo’s launch day such a huge success! He is no longer available here for free download, as that was a one day special promotion, but he has instead found his way home to my webstore with the rest of my creatures! Again, thank you all so much for your comments, likes, shares, hearts, and all the rest! Don’t forget to share your finished stuffies with me and everyone else on Facebook or Instagram with the tag #BeeboCat!
Here’s the original post with all the details but (sadly) the free download link disabled….
I am so incredibly excited to introduce you all to Beebo Cat, my latest PDF sewing pattern! To celebrate his launch day (and World Cat Day!) I’m happy to say I’m offering him for FREE DOWNLOAD today (August 8, 2016) only! I want as many people as possible to be able to use my patterns and experience the quality and clarity you can expect from everything in my shop. So without further adieu, say hello to Beebo by clicking → here ← to start your download!
Beebo was actually designed a few years ago when Marian wasn’t yet the vocal queen she is today. For some reason when I gave her one of the prototypes I was working on she called him “Beebo” and the name just stuck. Ever since then he has become a favorite character in our house and one of my best selling products on the rare occasion that I attend a craft market.
He is so deceptively simple in his design but it took many many iterations to get to where he is today (as is always the case). He stands only 6″ tall, has a cute little piped tail, and lastly, a typically indignant cat expression permanently embroidered on his face. Speaking of his face, it is a TON of embroidery so please feel free to get creative with his face if you aren’t like me and live to sit and make a million teeny tiny stitches. You could try carving a stamp to print his face using my stamp carving tutorial (which is how the very first Beebo was made), create a silkscreen using my screen filler tutorial (which is how I create the Beebos that I sell at craft markets), or go for the gold and embroider! It’s up to you! Just make sure to have fun.
Enjoy Beebo just as I have enjoyed him over the years and don’t forget to tell your friends to come check him out for FREE today only! If you’ve missed it, don’t fret, he’s available in my pattern shop for just $6. Please don’t forget to share your finished kitties with me on Instagram (@LucyBlaire) with the hashtag #BeeboCat!
Have fun and Happy World Cat Day!
