Lucy Blaire Handmade | Etsy Featured Seller

I started my Etsy shop in 2008 with absolutely no plan or direction and in the nearly 6 years since I opened my “doors” a lot has changed. I now run my Etsy shop full time from my studio and through many iterations I finally found my groove. My makeup bags fly off the shelves, have been featured in magazines, blogs, and YouTube channels the world over, and now I’ve begun to add PDF sewing patterns to the mix bringing all of my ventures home to Etsy.

Etsy has been an amazing avenue for me to take control of my life, be self employed, be a stay at home Mom, and earn a living doing the thing I do best, sew. Through the years Etsy has been kind enough to showcase my wedding on their blog as well as feature me in their Quit Your Day Job series. Now I have reached the pinnacle of Etsy publicity with my Featured Shop article! I’m so excited about this one and absolutely had to share it with all of you. It’s been a part of the Etsy homepage from the beginning and if you have a shop of your own then you know you watch that spot, look up to those sellers, and hope against hope you make it there one day. Now, finally, it’s happened! Here are a few photos from the post but head over to Etsy to see the rest along with a few blurbs about me, my studio, and my process.
