I’ve been on a mission ever since I found out I was going to have a baby to find new traditions for our family. My husband and I both have fond memories of things we did when we were children but also feel excited to start our own. One thing I think would be a welcomed addition is to celebrate every milestone with a little gift. Instead of cookies or toys I think books would work perfectly. Maybe it’s a birthday, the first successful stay away from home, or that first hit in little league, it could be anything your little one feels proud of. Marian may be a little young yet but it’s never too early to start. Now you need to mark the occasion and for that I’ve created this fun book plate you can use for your own children or those of friends and family.
Simply peel off the paper backing and stick the plate inside the front cover of your book. For Marian’s baptism we went with Where Ever You Are, My Love Will Find You by Nancy Tillman. Nancy Tillman writes beautiful books to read to your baby. Another of our favorites from Ms. Tillman is called, On the Night You Were Born.
Now you can mark every milestone with something that will last a lifetime.
Enjoy and have fun!
